Wossen Belehu
MEL Expert - Managing for Results
Mr. Belehu is a passionate international development professional bringing more than15 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), in institutional and community level interventions. He has worked in diverse sectors such as inclusive education, health, nutrition, and water & sanitation, where he earned the nickname "Dr. Watsan."
Mr. Belehu's expertise starts at the inception or proposal writing phase of grant-seeking, where he can help you in gathering the data and information you need to demonstrate how you will manage results in your project - an important criteria in the proposal assessment phase. Next, designing your logic model to set the parameters of change within your project proposal - and establishing the methods and indicators you'll need to impress any donor! And finally - articulating that all-important 'Theory of Change.'
Mr. Belehu has extensive experience in the non-profit space and has participated in successful new business developments where his role includes making sure new grant proposals have their Logic Model, and Performance measurement frameworks well defined and outlined in the grant proposals - and is aligned with the organizational strategic plan. And when you reach the notice of award phase - Dr. Watsan is ready to help you in the Project Implementation Phase (PIP) where you will be designing your baselines for the project start-up!
